FTA - SKY + BOX Differences

I have a Freesat box and dish.
I have been "told" that if I get a Sky+ box and a "free" card,
replace it with the Freesat box,
I will get more channels than I do at present ?
    Is this correct ?
    Is there a catch ?
What extra do you get ?

Sorry if this has already been covered, I looked through this section but could not find a similar query.

    Thanks

    nope.

only way of getting extra channels on sky box is by paying a sub for them.

edit:- except five usa and sky3 but then you will have to pay for the card anyway.
