Secondhand Sky dish?

    We cancelled our sky multiroom sub before we moved abroad and gave our dish and two boxes to my parents.
    They only use one box, but have become attached to the BBC/ITV/Channel 4 etc :rolleyes: so i dont really want to take away the dish, so if i could get a another dish for the spare box id be sorted, as we move home next month, but only into temporary accomodation, so dont want to subscribe to Sky if we are going to have to move again in a few months- actually dont want to subscribe to Sky just to get the equipment when we have a spare box and are happy with the free channels until we get a permanent address and phone line.

    Any ideas?

    Just post where u location is,plenty of installers like myself here so Im sure one of them would be able to supply and fit a dish for you....

    We will be in the midlands, but are still abroad at the moment. Just wanted to know if its possible to get a second hand dish or if we would have to get the equipment from Sky. Thats great that we can!!! One less bill to pay. :D

    thanks to everyone who pm'd me already, will keep you in mind if i dont find anyone closer to home. My brother knows a guy who could install, so he may be able to source the hardware.
