Playing Newbridge with a friend of mine on Saturday who is a member there, i've never been.

Has anybody played it before? What is it like?

It's a fairly young and flat parkland course, with thousands of trees planted around the place.

It's open for most of the round so you can go for your shots and the greens were good when I played it.

It won't blow your socks off, but it's an enjoyable round of golf and the good holes are well spaced out.

There are a few photos here

And be sure to ask about the nutter who spent the night in the car park in -5 degree temperatures with no heating in the camper van.

This time of year and with all the rain, you might consider some assessories, i.e., lifevest, small dingy, inflatable golf ball etc.
