    HI,
I'm looking for an MP3 player for gym for my wife, the Ipod shuffle or sony W series seem ideal expect they have no lcd display; she wants one to see what song is playing/choosing songs.

    Can anyone recommend one thats
    small in size
attaches easily (ideally not needing a big strap)
    radio not essential
If a strap is needed then fair enough.

    Cheers,
    Pa

That's a nice price, are you sure it was the Fuze?

Good grief.. 24 euro. I payed more than double, bah.

dinneenp, grab one if you can, there's nothing wrong with these, I use one everyday, radio, radio record, voice record, drag and drop etc..

The only downside being the lack of Apple audio support, .aac, .m4a etc.. the default format created by iTunes.

+1 sansa clip 8gb is a total bargain for 25 yoyos. it's rated as one of the best-sounding mp3 players at any price. had one myself for the last year. just upgraded to the new clip plus 8gb myself that has a micro sd expansion slot and have ordered a 16gb micro sd card so I'll have a 24gb player that's half the size of a matchbox - genius!

got it for 80 dollars / 57 euro on a buy it now on ebay including delivery. had no probs with customs or anything. don't think you can get them in ire yet - haven't seen one anyways. scrolling is much faster than first model - handy when you have more stuff on it.

What the battery life like on the Sansa? I've been using a Zen Stone+ for the last 18 months for listening to the radio cycling in and out of work and listening to music other times. I initially got about 8 hours out of it, but I'd be lucky to get 4 now, tis driving me mad having it run out of power halfway home. :)

€25, definitely can't go wrong there, I'll have to pop down to XV and see if they've any left.

sansa claims 15 hours but I'd say that it's closer to 8 or 10. the new model clip + seems to be better. the clip can charge from usb cable anyways so if you work at a pc just use that and you'll never run out of music on the way home.
