Morning, just wondering what your opinion is in regard to stalking when the weather in like today, wet, wet and wet.
Deer will stay in cover. Do you even go or stay home near the fireplace or at work near the radiator:)
    Any opinion welcome.

I've had great success in times of rain. No reason why the deer wont be out. I have always seen deer out on days like these and find that there is no notable difference in success rates of hunting in fine weather or wet. Basically if you've planned to go stalking and it turns up wet the only thing stopping you from going is the thoughts of being out in the elements. The deer will still be there

And don't forget to put a little bit of sticky tape (electricians insulation tape) over the muzzel to stop all that water getting in and running down the bore.

Even better, you know those yokes you can pull over a bandaged finger ? They look a bit like a condom the Lilliput Pharmacy would sell. Buy a box of those and sorted.

I would think that the heavy rain covers your sent a bit more making it easier to get closer also the sound of heavy rain kind of drowns out any noise you make
Best way to overcome the bad weather is by wearing good gear to keep you warm
