I noticed that paddy is doing an unbelievable special on the gold cup at the weekend, if any of nicholls horse wins u get ur money back (up to 200 quid refund i think) He has 3 of the top 5 horses in the race

Im thinkin of backing a the other two big and if they win I win big, and if I lose chacnes are one of Nicholls horses will... and i'll get my money back..

Sounds good 2 me, but things aren't always as easy as they seem first..

    Any thoughts??

On the face of it, it looks tempting alright. Pity Tom Segal doesn't put his selection up on Friday or does the offer extend to race day?

Far as I know the offer is right up to close of market.

I'm just gonna back Chapoturgeon because I think he has the best chance in the race. I don't see Poquelin getting up there to be honest despite the presence of Ruby. Tatanen not without a shot either.

While I see your logic in thinking of opting for the non Nicholls' horses realistically your not investing your money for the right reasons. Yes you might get your money back but profiting is the name of this game.

I recently saw Paddy Power on video saying they give back around 20-30 million each year in these money back specials. They are their way of keeping customers with them. This event will be such a big betting race that they can well afford to refund if one of PF's charges does the business. So bottom line it shouldnt really affect your judgement of the race, ya do your homework and take your pick. Thats my take on it at least!
