With all this talk of Social Welfare cutbacks, dole and child benefit etc., what about the Family Income Supplement? Any talk of that being decreased?

I think they will be more likely to increase the income limit. Increasing hours wouldn't be right with the job shortage and more people working less hours , not by choice.

cant see them leaving it the same, they are going to cut the dole and do something with the childrens allowance so I'm sure they will decrease all other social welfare benefits.
So much for high paid civil service workers, I'm in the civil service and I earn so little that I qualify for Family Income Supplement! Along with a pay cut I'll get a social welfare cut, and I'm barely surviving!
