I like the app as it has a lot of irish radio stations on it. Streaming over 3G is great unless you lose reception. Best radio app Ive used to date.

I think its great. Big selection of Irish stations and well an endless amount of other ones. You can also listen to it in the back round aswell on non jailbroken devices to which makes it great. Only downside really is that it is on the pricey side cant really fault it for anything else although the dispay could do with a revamp.

for those using it on 3g, does it not use up your allowance pretty quickly?

Surprisingly not. I use to to listen to test cricket on Radio 4 LW. I can listen all day for 5 days and not even come close to using up my 1gb allowance.

I worked out the rate for an hour of data, assuming a 32kbps stream, in a thread a while back.

I'm not doing it again, :), but if you search, I am sure you will find it.

I can do it for you.

    So 32kbps*3600 sec( 1 hour) /8/1024 = 14Mb approx. per hour.

cheers, figured for the raw stream it would be something like that, but that assumes zero overhead..is the stream that size in reality?

I think so, it should be 32kbps or 36kbps max, it's nothing mention on their website.
I haven't tried it myself, i just bought is yesterday and lots of people who are using it says 1 gb is enough for if you use it for an hour daily.
