    Hi all,

Has anyone bought their wedding rings from

    http://www.weddingrings-direct.com ?

Their prices are very competitive and they seem to be well established. Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with them!

    Thanks!

Never heard of these guys but would also be interested as their prices seem competitive without being ridiculously cheap if you know what i mean.

Yeah they have a really good service where they'll send out sterling silver samples of any of the wedding rings you like for 2 pounds each - and you send them back when you've finished with them.

We ordered 9 of them last week, varying widths and styles, so we know when we order the real ones that the sizes, and shapes are exactly what we want and that the fit is perfect.

I'm going to order my 3mm platinum band (400 euro - 600 in the shops here) - and my fiance is going to order a 7mm brushed Titanium band for about 200!

I'll let you know how we get on.

oh please do. One of the rings on the site is exactly what I'm looking for at a fraction of the price and my fiance was really impressed with the selection of mens rings so definitely would love some feedback on them when you get them.

Unfortunately I had a terrible experience with Wedding Rings Direct. They basically sent me the wrong style of ring(£1250 platinum band) but then told me that, as there was only 10 days to the wedding they would not be able to get the right one to me in time.

My fiance, now wife :-), were gutted - they offered to swap after the wedding - not much use as we were of the opinion that you should have the rings you go through the ceremony with for life. They offered a refund as well but this was not much use as it was too late to source one locally. The last straw was when they quoted me their terms and conditions stateing that they could not be held responsible for not providing the ring in time for the wedding. In the end I was forced to keep the ring and was refused any kind of refund by way of apology for all the stress etc.

In short my advice would be decide what style you're looking for early and go local - you should get better service and there is less likelyhood of something going wrong like our disaster.

I completely disagree, we just got our rings delivered yesterday, and they're both fabulous! Thought the customer service was great too and all queries were answered promptly.

I had one of the rings altered in width and they did a great job too, exactly what they wanted.

Sorry to say BigChap, but I think you left your ordering too late, you can't blame WDR for that, and they did all they could to rectify the situation!

Sorry to drag up an old thread but I wanted to ask the same question as the OP
I can see some nice rings there and i love the idea of getting a trial one for a couple of pounds to try on first before buying the real ones.
Has anyone else used them here?

Yes you can get trial rings but only in standard/blank style - you cannot get trials of any of the decorated or non standard rings - more for size and thickness etc.

    Hi All

Seriously considering www.weddingrings-direct.com for Palladium wedding rings as they will also do a bespoke ring for my very oddly shaped engagement ring- when a jeweller asked me if I'd consider wearing my wedding ring on a different finger I nearly started crying :(. Prices for rings seem ridiculously expensive at the moment and we're trying to do the whole thing without having to rely on cash gifts or loans.

I guess I'm looking for reassurance that this will be a smooth process. We're living in the Netherlands but getting married at home in June 2011.

Yes this company seem to good for prices alright.Myself and my fiance went in a few weeks ago to our local jewellers and we both picked out our wedding bands. The one i picked out was white gold and i wanted to get it made in platnium instead and they quoted me €4000 to get it made!!!!
