    hello i'm considering getting the above package because the analogue service in my house is attrocious,i have tv's in 4 rooms so i would need 4 cable boxes does anyone know how much they charge for the extra cable boxes cant find it on their website,also do they charge for connecting them as i already have 4 seperate points in each room.

    You would need to pay €8.50 per month per extra room. Plus you would probably need to pay for the extra boxes, but I don't know how much, you will need to contact UPC and ask. I think the box maybe free, but they charge €60 per room install fee.

    Let us know if you find out as this question comes up frequently.

    Thanks for the reply, is not a case of plugging the feed cable into the back of the cable box and then plugging the hd or scart cable into it because 60 euro per room seems a bit steep if that's all that needs to be done.

    u will only get bbc hd on hd package afaik , But the decoder will upscale all channels and pictures

    I agree, it is steep, but that is what I believe it is, I suppose it is more for the cost of the box, then the labour. Anyway you will need to call UPC to confirm.
