    I have a 71 fiat 124 bought new in kellys waterford in nov 71 with bill of sale has any one out there any bits for one , yes really an irish 124

    cool. Up to last year, there was always a red 124 special at terenure. Irish car also. Look like it was slowly decaying over the years I saw it....

    If I ever see it again, I'll make a offer....:D

    I actually spotted the shell of a 127 on a trailer being towed around Athlone on Sunday and thought what a lovely little car it would be to return to original glory.

    I recognise that car. Its a Zhuguli Lada from the USSR..... It only arrived last year.

    Not that 127, I met the owner in Athlone, Sunday eve and did some Fiat 850 parts swapping and the 127, a red 1300GT is absolutley shagged:D, it was bought for its engine and gearbox. The lad who owns it has a 700 mile from new 127 in mint condition.

    IIRC Won in a competition by Birdseye foods in 1978, driven for a few months and then carefully stored, it was at Durrow and Terenure this year.

    There was a 124 in a garage out my back lane for years (must have been there 25 odd years). The old fella who lived there eventually passed away and the house was sold. Garage was demolished and car scrapped as far as i know. It was a late sixties plate on it. It can't have been on the road too long before it was laid up.

    an old man in portumna 10 mins from my house is still driving a 1970's fiat 127 the reg is an offaly reg a kir reg he got it restored recently and its green colour like the post vans
