Can anyone tell me what the starting salary is now for staff grade clinical psychologists? The PSI website is quoting fairly old information. And, if anyone is at this level, what it works out at per month?

    Thanks

Hi the most recent pay scale has the starting point as 57 549. There are eight points on the scale then two long service increments take it up to 90771. It would usually take 13-15 years to get to this.

Monthly pay as worked out by http://taxcalc.eu/ is 3303 per month. However if you are going to be working in the public service (HSE) and some HSE funded organisations ( Daughters of Charity) you will have to take the pension levy into account.
