    Hi All,

We are thinking of buying in Woodville in Glanmire, but we know very little about the area. Infact we know very little about Glanmire. Heard it was quite a nice area. Would love some feedback if you have any please.

We are a young family with a small baby so any feedback on schools, creches etc would be helpful also. Are there nice pubs restaurants in the area? Is there a shopping center nearby?

    Thank You

There are plenty of houses in the city now in area's like Douglas etc.....
I would not pick Glanmire unless it was handy for work.

In answer to your question IMO, Glanmire has little to offer except expensive taxi rides to town, long traffic que's in the morning and evening. There are few good pubs are nice places to eat. Just my opinion, don;t shoot!!:)

I don't know where Woodville is exactly but Glanmire in general has everything you need really regarding schools/creche/church/bank/supermarket/pubs/takeaways/GAA Clubs etc, plus it also close enough to Mahon Point and the City Centre. There may be some traffic issues in the morning (as there is in most city suburbs) but the amount of traffic would depend really in the direction you were heading.
