OK guys, I hope you might be able to help me with this.
For starters I know nothing about boxing really, not my thing I'm a 'not the face ' kinda guy :D:D:D
Anyway, a friend of the family has recently moved back to Ireland and is looking to get back involved here. He was involved in Canada and was an Irish Champion YEARS ago. Anyway, he's a very fit 55 to 60 year old and just wants to get involved in a club and maybe coach in time. He's been away so long now that he has no connection with the sport here anymore.
Problem is this, basically he has called a few clubs (not gona name them) and the reaction was . . . well cold to say the least. Almost as if he was steping on toes
Could anyone please give me a contact for a club, anywhere west Dublin East Kildare area, He is in Naas/Rathcoole area. He is not pushy or anything which is why I find the reaction strange, I'd say he'd be happy to just be around a gym. He a genuinely nice smart guy, just needs a contact.

    Thanks in advance
