Hairyness

I'm a 32 year old male and I have a problem in that I am extremely hairy. As I am getting older I am also getting more hairy!
Whilst I'm happy to have a hairy chest, I'm not so gone on the hairy back, shoulders and upper arms. I shave my back and shoulders but its a serious pain in the ass. I am single but anytime I am with a woman I am more paranoid about removing my top than they are!! I am happy with my body otherwise and I am fairly fit and toned.
So my question how do i get rid of this unwanted hair? Anyone any experience with laser? Anything else out there??

While I dont have much advice for you and I realise your hairyness is really bothering you, there is some women (like me) who actually love hairy men!!!!!

and what is worse than too much hair is a stubbly back etc when the hair is growing back.

Most women are more worried about their own insecuritys rather than the amount of hair on you

I think you should accept who you are (not an ape, at least insofar as you are no more an ape than any other human). Being different is as much in the mind as the body. We are all different, and our differences make us unique. Don't be ashamed, be yourself, and be proud to be unique. I suggest that you face your inhibitions, in public. Go to the swimming pool, go to the beach (weather permitting). After a while, you will be comfortable with it. When you are comfortable, others will be too.

have you not considered getting waxed OP, Im not sure if its an urban myth or not, but I heard over time i grows back lighter and lighter, I could be very wrong on that one though.

Been there done that. Doesn't actually last that long and hurts like hell the first few times you get it done. I actually got a fairly bad rash on my shoulders last time I got it done. I'd be interested to hear anyones experience on laser removal. From what i have heard, while not permanent removal. it does reduce the amount of hair dramatically.

Hairiness is damn sexy! Don't knock it.

I love hair on a man - the more, the sexier. I'm smooth and slim myself - I like my men to look like men, not boys.

There are plenty of women like me out there [not to mention the entire gay bear movement] who love men like you and find you incredibly sexy. Bear that in mind!

Dude, a lot of women love the hairy look. My wife is crazy for my hairiness, can't get enough. Just relax, if you're a nice guy, the ladies won't give a damn.

dude i share your feelings. also 32, also got the gradually creeping hair coverage.

AFAIK the laser stuff is expensive especially for larger areas like the back. Its also 'semi-permanent' as opposed to permanent i.e. doesn't last forever. Personally it doesn't bother me that much, but if it did i'd probably look into this all right. its all quite techincal thou - so far as i know there are different types of lasers etc that have different effectivenesssss. you might get useufl answer in another forum - you might get more info if you also post in The Gnetlemen's Club or the Ladies Lounge

Hairy men are hot, trust me on this, if you were in the cinema watching Wolverine and the naked scene came on, you would so know by women's reaction that hairy men are hot!!!

Hairy chests esp, backs and shoulders too!!

Remember while you may feel you have to shave your shoulders and back, women have to do the following: shave armpits, pluck eyebrows, wax legs, remove any undercarraige hair!, wax upper lip, tweezer random hair from breasts, remove toe hair etc etc
