Sky HD Box gone ?

    I have a SKY HD box that I got in August of Last year and last night the picture was freezing but the audio kept playing , if I changed the channel it would come back ,

    Then the it started to show no satellite signal, when I went in and checked the signal in services, input2 was not showing as receiving any signal ,

    So I powered the box off and let it come back on and both inputs were showing good signal but the "no satellite signal" message was still showing up .

    All my other boxes in the house are working.

    Is my box dead ? If so how much is a new one going to set me back ?

    have you tried one of the other boxes in its place?

    just tho rule out lnb and cable issues

    Yeah checked with another box and everything is fine ,

    When you power it off and power it back up again , the Sky customer care page come up with the Sky adds on it , then when you try to go to another station it comes up with the no satellite signal.

    The box has started to work again just now with all stations but the fans on it are going full tilt , its in standby at the moment and iIcan still hear them whirling away , I went over to see if its to warm, but the box is nice and cool .
