From Drumcondra, walk up to Hartes Corner at the top of Withworth Road and get the 4 or 4A from there. Both go by the RDS main hall entrance (drops you across the road). From there a little walk to wherever can only do you the world of good.

If you want to ge the train, you can go from Drumcondra to either Lansdowne Road or Sandymount. You may have to change train.

Train from Drumcondra to Pearse and DART to Sandymount.
