Sore Muscles and training?

Hi, looking for peoples opinions, not medical advice.

New to running over 5K distances, ran 6 miles on Saturday (planning on running the Waterford 1/2) then last night played tennis.

Legs felt fine apart from a little soreness at the very top of my left calf. Did a good warm up before playing, felt it a bit towards the end and when I was stretching afterwards but really noticed it in the shower.

Iced it and kept it elevated for the rest of the night which made a difference. It's still a little sore today when I walk and a little tender if I press into it with my fingers.

I have a rest night tomorrow night, have something on so I can't run then. I'm wondering if the experienced runners here think I could do an easy-run on it tonight with the rest tomorrow or should I rest it until Wednesday?

I'm really focused on avoiding an injury that might affect the Waterford 1/2.

Any opinions would be appreciated thanks.
