Vegans & Colds

I have found since being vegan that I haven't actually been ill much. I know that cutting down / cutting out dairy really helps to reduce phlegm, but am kind of surprised this week that I think I've got a "cold", but only a very slightly runny nose and my voice has completely gone! Nothing else is wrong with me, it's very odd! Anyone else find that they get fewer colds or colds with much milder symptoms when they aren't eating any dairy??
