    Hey Folks,

Just wondering if anyone has been to the Algarve in December before....
    If so....was it cold?
And what is it like to drive there?....Nothing like Italy I hope!
Any advice you have would be great...suggestions of what to do, or where to see or anything really!...cheers

Could be anything weather wise in december.

December Average Temp. 10-16 degrees with 9 days rain so a 2 in 3 chance of having a non-rainy day. Pretty good odds compared to Ireland!

Driving is on the right but in general the roads are good and the drivers are ok.
Sample of things to do here

Yes I have been for a week. A couple of days sun and probably 12-15 degrees, couple of days overcast but not cold and a couple of days rain. It wont be beach or pool weather and it will be cold at night. You could get a whole week of sun or a whole week of rain jst depends on the weather gods.

i live here. algarve. until now the weather has been very mild for the time of year. december, normally quite nice, 17 18 maybe higher. plenty of sunshine but once it gets to 4pm u will start to notice a sharp change in temperature. lots of tourists hit the beaches. driving is pretty ok. nothing like italy or the m50. algarve is a rural area.
