Have my laptop about a year now, turned laptop on the other day and a black screen came up and says that i am subject to counterfeit goods. Any idea how I counteract this?

I would say that you either have a pirated version of windows or else you have some sort of malware infection on your laptop. Either way you need to seek help from someone with the necessary technical knowledge to determine whats wrong and fix it for you. If you don't know anyone who can help then you'll need to go to your local computer shop for help.

Yeah googled the error code last night, had to download regcure, it costs money for it to work though, which is a bummer, i might just bring it into a computer shop altogether see what the story is. Thanks
