i owe about 1k in vat. if i want to avoid paying that i'd have to spend 5500 to get 21.5% off my vat bill which works out at about 1K which would cancel the charge out. is there anything else i can do with this 1k besides paying it back to the govt, i dont need 5 laptops for example or 12 iphones and i dont have the 5500 to be spending anyway but is there anything else i can do with the 1k like invest or give it to charity or sumthn/

    cheers

Could you buy a couple of your friends shopping for the rest of the year, in your name?

Could you swallow 100000 cents and fall in a river?

Why not just pay the vat and save 4500? Or else i could sell you some maggic beans, Im pretty sure theres vat on magic beans because of the magic portion as apposed to them bean classed as food????

Just pay it over to the Revenue. It was never your money to begin with, you were merely collecting VAT from your customers to pay over to revenue.

    You owe tax.

    Pay the tax.

Do not look for tips for fraud here. It is illegal.
