Alternative contraception options

I really hate using condoms, honestly takes so much sensitivity away from me and spoils a lot of the fun. My girlfriend is not on the pill she said she went on it once and gained weight so is reluctant to go back on. I'm not sure if they all do that or what maybe there is a differnt one she can try etc - but presuming that is not the case, what other options should we consider?

The one thing to note here is that I never cum through penetrative sex. I have what is known as Delayed Ejaculation, and I have never actually orgasmed inside a woman - so in one way I do not need to bother. However I have heard a girl can get pregnant even if the guy does not orgasm - not sure of the realistic chances of that happening but don't want to be on of those statistics. "The Withdrawl Method" is well known - I'm less of a risk that that even as I don't ever even come close to cumming - but I still worry...

    So, any advice?

There are different options she can consider if she goes back to her GP, not every pill causes weight gain, and there are non-hormonal options as well.

By no means should you be having sex without any contraception at all due to your condition, it would be a silly risk to take. It goes without saying that if you're going to stop using condoms then you both need to get clean STI tests beforehand as well.

Contraceptive injection is pretty popular.... Last about 6 months I think [Check with your GP for an exact time]... Basically, girlfriend gets a jab and your pretty much protected for a number of months. Don't think their are side effects with it as a lot of my friends have gotten it done for years and I defo havnt noticed any weight gain etc on them.

Your GP will pretty much explain everything about contraception methods.

The contraceptive injection lasts for 12 weeks and has numerous side effects, one of the biggest ones being weight gain - I was on it for 5 years and it didn't suit me at all. Caused me a lot of problems that I didn't even realise were caused by it until I came off it!

Get your gf to talk to her GP!

Look at the "contraceptives" thread in "the ladies lounge" section here on boards. Many women are talking about their experiences using different types of contraception.
