Harvey Norman selling the game for €37.77 on all platforms. One per customer.
Cheapest price I have seen for the game either online or in bricks and mortar shops.

hi, i work for xtravision and the original game is goona retail at 49.99 or 44.99, the hardened edition price hasnt been realesed to us yet but its probably gonna be 70 quid. The prestige edition has night vision goggles but at 170 quid were not getting them in cos nothin can be worth that!

Amazon UK are selling MW2 for £32 at the moment.
With free super saver delivery and currency conversion, should come to just under €40.

€44.99 in Smyths according to its website anyway. Wonder if that means it'll be even cheaper in HMV, they have been cheaper for most games recently.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,534 ✭✭✭✭guil

World at War wasnt bad, it was just not as good as COD4. But it still stands up well.

ok yea, i didnt mean it was crap, it did have a good story, i really didnt like the online multiplayer though, but thats ust me! When it cameout i was so sick of WW2 games, modern warfare redefined the FPS genre for me and the multiplayer was SICK!!!! the only thing IMO that will compare to COD:4 MW is going to be Modern Warfare 2!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,007 ✭✭✭stevoslice

Rang Harvey Norman's there to see what the story was wth this and yer man said you need to preorder the game to get it at the €37.77 price.

Yeah it is, and you get a free dvd of your choice with it and the possibility of a half price headset (and the usual vouchers)

It's the same price across all the stores, and a couple of them are opening at midnight tonight (I'll be at the shankill one tonight :D)

By the way, for anyone getting it in Tesco- RUN. It'll sell out really fast, most of them are normally taken by staff

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 841 ✭✭✭toe_knee

Does anyone know if ALL the Tesco stores are selling from midnight?

From their 5.99 range- older titles but decent selection (newest films would be ones released on dvd say 6 months ago approx?) Pleanty of classics though
