Acer Aspire boot problem

    Aspire 9304 wsmi
    Worked perfect since I bought it 2 years ago.

    Now every time I boot it up I get the green power lights etc but a black screen.
    Press and hold the power button to shut it off and press again to boot and 99% of the time it will boot and stay working all day with no issues.
    It still works 100% spot on,
    Any ideas as to the boot problem?:confused:

    How would I know?
    where is that located? I assume the whole back has to come off?
    I have no problem working on PC's but little experience of Laptop hardware.

    Try booting it connected to a monitor and see what happens - rule out a problem with the laptop display
