Not the best wrestler(or close) in the business but defo one of the best physiques. What would be a good regime to get the Cena look?

I think my natural physique is really like this. Stats I'm 19 years old, 5 foot 8 and currently kind of atlethic.

Eat €150+ of food a week, spend 3 hours a day in the gym, lot of supplements and acquire some Human Growth Hormone.

For realistic and general muscle building, up your food intake(check the stickies) and focus on big compound lifts twice a week (check the stickies out).

all of the above and ...

eat proper healthy food, work out daily - take some supplements and read the stickies !!

(and maybe do some weights in your work out)

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,179 ✭✭✭FunkZ

Okay it's been posted the same amount of inches as my willy is.

So lift heavy weights for an hour four times a week, eat loads of steak, eggs, and rice.
Don't give up, get to wear you can lift the same weights as JC can and you'll look like him.

    Good luck.

OP unless you're trolling then think about it, Cena wasn't always that size and didn't always do the same workout as he does now. I also doubt he had the same kinda of aids as he has now. Everything you need to know is in the stickies. You're 18 so may get near 6 foot and to put on muscle you'll need to seriously up the calorie and protein intake, and lift a lot of weights.
Cena is also noted in the wrestling crowd as being one of the hardest workers around. We're literally talking hours a day in the gym and not many people can do that without some "assistance" which you don't need.

First off, Cena is a total genetic monster. He was a US teen national level bodybuilder, while focussing his training primarily on wrestling. To say he's one in a million would probably be an understatement, and from pics of him as a teen I'd say he would of had a shot at being a pro bodybuilder...
OP, ever see Cena aged 18/19? If you have a physique like that then you will make millions :D.
Other-wise, eat big + train heavy and you'll see good improvements, unless you're a troll in which case you'll see nothing.

Im pretty sure this exact thread was made a few months ago, although it could have been a different wrestler, im not too familiar with them

anyway, just eat food and lift weights, lots of info on that in the stickies
you will never get his body for the simple reason that you aren't him

Am I the only one that thinks he's not really that big? Great traps, and decent arms for sure, but after that it seems like a pretty attainable physique (based on a grand total of two pictures in this thread).

    ???
He's 6'1, 110kg, a super athlete for that size and has great lifts...

How long do you reckon it'd take you to "attain" such a physique?

Cena has some forearms like 2 big tree trunks real solid thick cut dude im sure if he ever concentrated on BB'ing he'd have been decent!

If he had a jersey on would he look all that different to many international rugby players playing in lock or flanker?

There's my spanner in the works.

110 isn't that big, I imagine it would take me 3-6 years, depending on injuries. What does super athlete for that size mean though???

It's called genetics. Even if you replicated his training, food and anabolic intake you may never look like him. He was born with great genetics for building muscle, couple that with all the above and voila, John Cena.

That's very close to being quitter talk. OP, you MAY never look like Cena because of genetics but you MAY have the right genetics for it. The only way to find out is by lifting heavy and eating right.

Regardless of genetics, it is well within peoples abilities to attain a similar size with serious work ethic and um.. nutrition etc.
