Sky Digital remote control Question

    I have SKYHD and need to get my remote to select AV2 on my Hatachi Plasma .

    Is there a way to get it to do this by pressing the SKY button or can i build a macro ?

    Why are you wanting Av2 if you have SkyHD you should be wanting a HD channel. Anyhow have you tried pressing tv and then help twice on your sky remote.

    Not 100% sure that'll show you how to do what you want but it might get you on the right track.

    to get av2 on the tv you will need to use the tv remote. (or a universal one)
    you cant select it using the sky remote.

    (you should have sky connected using the hdmi which should auto switch)

    HDMI is feeding into AMP .

    the amp remote should do it then.

    If your Sky remote can change the volume on the tv. Try pressing tv and then the help button...this changes the av channels on your tv without the need for the original tv remote.

    Not exactly true John once the sky remote is programmed to certain tv's it has a variety of functions including selecting and changing AV inputs
