    Hi there,

I am looking to buy a new Mp3 player. My old one was a creative zen player and because I dropped it so many times it is now on it's last legs! I had it for about 4 years and it was well used.

This time I am looking for an Mp3 player that I can easily select/browse through the music that I have stored in organised files. Creative player seemed to create a file that contained music from various different artists. I would prefer to have a choice of selecting music from random files and to be able to select specific tracks..

I don't need one that can play films or store photos.
Can't decide between the sony 8Gb E-series or the new Cowen one that everybody seems to be raving about on here!
I am also looking for other suggestions/reccomendations!
    Price range- roughly around 100euro.

    Thank you for your help!

Like yourself I had a Zen. Like yourself and everyone else's it was always being reset.

Cowon S9 is the way to go.

I bought it several months ago after being recommended it on here and I can't recommend it highly enough. I purchased it along with the beats headphones, I had shure headphones with my Zen and thought it couldnt get better well it can. Spend the couple of extra bob on the Cowon.

    Sansa Clip

It may not be what you are looking because it puts your music according to artist but allows you to create a playlist or shuffle. The main reason i'd recommend it though is the 8gb model are currently 25 euro in xtravision.
