There are a couple of hard tops in the Uk for my Spitfire, but I'm reluctant to bid in case it turns out to be a nightmare getting it home.

Anyone used a company they can recommend?

Paisley Freight a few times - Always a good experience to date.

Costs roughly 60-70 for a pallet....

I am in the same situation, been looking at a few hardtop for my MGB in Britain, but no courier is willing to do business.

Do you have a contact number for Paisley couriers?

Hardtop in Newport in Wales, have until Friday to decide to take it.

I see ads all the time now for car + driver for under €80. Would it be worth driving over, sticking it on and driving back? Especially if it's only in Wales.

Edit: I'm guessing those prices aren't return!

Quoted me €150 incl VAT, but I am happy enough with that, so providing the hardtops seller is happy I will be going with that! I might finally have a hardtop for the MGB by next week. WooHoo

I'll be in the UK, near Bristol, at the end of the month.

If you want, I can see if the guy I'm buying a landrover from will accept a delivery, and I could bring it back to Wicklow for you, if that's any help.

Let me know. I'd be over on the 28th, back on the 29th.

Gil..Will you be going through Holyhead or Rosslare..?

Thats great Lauder. Well worth the dough if it keeps the rain out all winter.

Mine is en route and I have a new set of seals ordered from Rimmers.

The car is red, the roof is green. I might just aerosol the top black for now, though it is tempting to leave it in somewhere and have it matched to the car properly and have done with it.

Rosslare to Fishguard preferably. What's up?

I will be getting mine painted to match by CarCraft in North Strand. Very reasonable and excellent quality work.

Where did you buy the new seals? Edit: just noticed from Rimmers
