Al Jazeera Sports Irdeto error: E16 Service is currently scrambled.

    Hi everyone.

    I have an Iredto card for Al Jazeera Sports +1 to +8, which I watch on Hotbird E13°.

    I bought the card + Irdeto CAM in September. The card worked fine immediately, but after just 2 weeks I suddenly got the error message "E16 Service is currently scrambled." on all channels. (Well, on some it said E19 instead, but with the same text)

    I contacted the merchant from which I bought the card + CAM and he resent the signal. I had to leave my receiver on AJS +1 while he resent the signal and then image and sound came back on all channels.

    However the problem remained that the E16 error message reappeared when I hadn't watched one of the channels for a couple of hours or more. But the message always disappeared on its own after a few seconds up to a few minutes during the last month, so I could live with that, as I only had to wait for a short time for the image on the channels to appear.

    Today I'm back to the situation I was in one month ago: All channels are black and I get the E16 error, but it won't disappear on its own. Today I already contacted the merchant who sold me the card + CAM and had him resend the signal, while I left my receiver turned on JSC Sports +1. So far that hasn't helped yet. :(

    I'll leave the receiver on the +1 channel today and just hope that the signal will come through later.

    But is this the way it is supposed to work? And what do I do if the screen stays black? Of course I'll have to contact my merchant again then.. *sigh*

    Anyone else having these problems? Or any idea what causes them?

    Hi

    I'm having exact same issues, also happened in September and signal was resent to get channels back. My Al Jazeera Sports channels were also off this morning so I have to contact Tech Digital again.

    I know how frustrated you are, hopefully this is sorted soon.

    same problem here and same seller. Wont be buying an irdeto card ever again, this constant updates crap is a joke when your using a motorised satellite dish.

    Its the smit cam. Ive heard these are the worse cams ever, the viaccess one is even worse. Sometimes its always best to have a multicypt receiver able to accept the card.

    i'm using a dreambox and not a cam, techdigital said it was al jazeera that are having problems. They resent the signal so was all ok a while after I emailed them.

    gone again now, left it on jsc 1 overnight and no change. I emailed them again about it.
