Most of the people in RTE who might have the ability to question what's going on in this country have been silenced.
1. Questions and Answers is axed, John Bowman disappears.
2. Mary Wilson is given the Drivetime radio slot - she has no grasp of current affairs and is a particularly poor interviewer.
3. Pat Kenny is pushed from the Late Late where important issues of the day used to be discussed. He now hosts the Frontline, an adjudicator role that could have been done by someone of lesser stature than him. The LLS is given to lightweight Tubridy, a member of the Andrews Fianna Fail family, It is now Tubridy Tonight, but on a Friday.
4. George Lee leaves RTE to became a TD, hasn't been heard of since.
5. David McWilliams emerges from months of silence to become a full time TV presenter (The Panel)
6. Mark Little is now taking a year out to pursue some digital project.

There is now nobody left at the National Broadcaster capable of getting stuck in to the politicians. Tony Connolly is off around Europe talking about the Berlin Wall. We are being fed propaganda by RTE now that's worse than what was pedalled behind the Iron Curtain.

You might want to explicitly state what your theory is though. I visited behind the iron curtain when there was one by the way. I assume you didn't?
