When I think of Investment banks, I think of Barclays, UBS , Goldman Sachs etc.

Should they be called financial firms instead of investment banks?

    e.g.
UBS have the ubs.com website and also
    http://www.ibb.ubs.com/
The symbol changes from UBS to UBS Investment banking.

Just wondering if all those companies are investment banks and just have different activities, one of which is called investment banking?
