    Any idea what a shop would charge for this? i have all the parts needed. but possibly not all the tools.

    I've been quoted €70 for a simple frame swap, but I think €100-€150 is more usual.

    This would almost certainly work out cheaper.

    I would reccomend mr Skeffington for a bike build not only will he build your bike he will show you what to do also and give some great tips on how to look after your bike

    I think OP is in the west.
    Can you not ask for a lend of the tools you need on here and build it up yourself? Tools lending has been seen on here a good few times.

    thanks to all

    basically ive no problem building bikes or wheels. but ive just been asked by a few to do so, one uses some of the newest parts ive come across, ive modified some tools to make it work, but was more unsure what to charge for such a job.

    Mr Skeff not sure what part of the country you are in but based on the positives here ill refer you to anyone asking me that live close to you.
