I want to see the colonials fail 2 adapt to Earth 2! How is there no trace?,wat happened to the raptors + lampkin, adama, tigh, wat exact parts of their culture did they give to us,from what I undestand, they didnt abandon all tech(atlantis)by the way I like the fact they abandoned tech it ended the series on a hopeful note!,maybe see pissed off survivors, ? I want 2 see them interact with caveman?

"We tried to start anew, but we couldnt escape our flawed nature"

They cud expand the finale storyline flashbacks 2 galactica and the fleet, as they're off loading as to where they landed ,civilians in uproar disagreeing with lee,the in fleet episodes were amazing this cloud,e.g cloud 9

Olmos this is the only spin off I want! 3 part miniseries or movie?

the only way it would work would be to do something along the lines of unfinished business (all the new caprica flash backs during the boxing match)

Id be happier with something else - but i dont know what.

It would be interesting to see the centurians that where given the basestar and what happened them - perhaps they did what the older centurians did - tried to create their own human form cylons.

but it wouldnt be BSG without the actors we know

Considering that the closing theme of the series finale was that 150,000 years had past and we only had reached a level of technology not too similar to that of the 12 Colonies before the fall would suggest that the Human/Cylon survivors for the most part did abandon technology at the time or at least became almost independant of it for a period.

Ultimately though as Lee Adama pointed out our brains out think our hearts and the drive to make life easier through technology is in the blood, be it Cylon or Human. The lessions from the mistakes in the past were probably forgotten over that long period of time.

I'd be interested to see how the Cylon Centurions evolved over the 150,000 years, presuming they didn't just run out of spare parts and stop functioning.

I'm happy not too see anything further BSG related. The series was close to perfect with a superb ending and I'd rather leave it like that. A cracking, perfect length sci-fi series that tied up nicely at the end.

sorry, it really bugs me when I see someone posting using txt speak - it's "too" not "2", it's "could" not "cud" and it's "what" not "wat". If I hadn't thought that you had some insider scoop on a new series of Battlestar I would not have read your post because of this.....

But in any case I would agree with SM01, the series was pretty much close to perfection and I think it should be left as it is. Flogging it any further runs the very plausible risk of tarnashing it's memory. Let it rest in peace.
