    Hi All,

Just looking for any thoughts on this one. I cant find my drivers license and flying into shannon this evening. Rang the agency that i have car rented with and they say cant get car without license, (understandable) if i had a uk license i can ring the dvla and they would fax a copy to them.. is there a place in ireland that would do the same. really stuck with this one...

Do you want people from boards to come over and help you look for it?

I'd doubt that anywhere will fax a copy of your (or anyone's) licence to the rental company.

Do they even keep copies of your licence? I'd say you'll have to order a new one.

As a country I dont think we are THAT organised or efficient........

You might find something here although I doubt its possible to do with an Irish licence. Am surprised the DVLA would do that for you as well as I believe driving without a license in your possession is an offence.

Sure, by law, you can't drive over here without your licence!
