    Hi all,

I got this dress for my grad, its on sat. I fell in love with it in shop, but looking at this pic makes me think it looks granny-ish??

Pic is a bit strange, the band is actually silver and bottom half is dark grey.

    Will i wear something else??

I'm wearing it with hot pink shoes and pink accessories?

    Opinions ! Quick!!!

I think you look grand in that dress...Why go with the the hot pink shoes? the beige/brown ones seem spot on

Just think its very dark, I want to brighten it up with the pink. You don't agree?

No its not too dark..looks kinda classy.... the beige/brown shoes seem to go well with the dress.
That's a male point of view though maybe the girls will see it differently with regards your shoes.
    Anyways enjoy your night.

If you feel its a little older than you want it to be, find a good dress maker, take it up a layer at the bottom... or make the straps a little thinner?
A good seamstress could have that done in a couple of hours or overnight! Again, its down to your age and body shape, however I think its personally a lovely dress!

Colour is is great, especially since its coming up to Christmas! And because the colours are so neutral you can get away with the Hot pink! Don't go too mad with the accessories tho... Id stick with the shoes and maybe a pajmeena [ Excuse my spelling! ]. Don't go overboard with hot pink earings, bracelets etc because you'll probably end up on borderline tacky, especially considering because the dress is so classy and tasteful.

I think the dress isn't really age-specific - I think it's nice and neutral it depends on how you wear it. If you fell in love with it then presumably it suits you? That's what is important! One tjing I would say is that if you're short it might look a bit long? Could you hem it up a tiny bit higher?
I'm going to disagree with the above poster and say that whatever you do, don't wear a pashmina! Just my opinion, but I think if there's one thing that will make it look old it's a pashmina. If you've nice arms then I don't understand why anyone would wear one with this dress!
I think hot pink shoes will look cool, but don't go overboard trying to make your accessories look all matchy-matchy with necklace, earrings, bracelet etc Again I think this just looks old. I'd wear maybe some pretty head piece like a nice hairband, or clip or maybe a statement ring or earrings.

If you feel the dress has an 'old' vibe then why not accenuatate that and retro/vintage it up. Finger curl hairdo, facinator, fauxfur stole/shrug...

    I'm older than Minecraft goats.

    I really love that idea!
If that's not what you're into however OP, I do like the idea of the hot pink accessories. I think the pink would be nice especially if the bottom is more grey than the pic as you said. I wouldn't wear a pashmina; pink shoes, a clutch and maybe a ring would be more than enough. Nice dress, enjoy your night!

Definitely dont go with hot pink anyway, it would really clash, and ruin the qualities of the dress. I love the vintage-ing of it though.

you should just wear what you're comfortable in. If you feel grannyish then dont wear it, if you feel confident to wear it, strut your stuff.

Lovely dress and I will imagine it will be flattering on.

My opinion is no way pink shoes. Will make it look tacky. Go with shoes like the one in the pic. Very classy look overall.

    Not grannyish atall btw!
