i bought an full metal airsoft gun in dublin, it's .7 joules and legal BTW

the gun is very popular worldwide and costs about 100 euros

however it leaked badly, i noticed after an online search that this gun leaks badly for most people

i took the magazine apart several times and used my previous experience with seals to fix it 100%, it will now hold gas for weeks rather than seconds

i want to offer my skill on ebay, say if people send me their magazines and pay me, i will seal it properly

1: is it possible to offer a repair job like this for sale on ebay ?
2: is it legal to send me airsoft magazines and for me to mail them back to people ?

    thank you

Ive no idea as far as selling your services on ebay, but when it comes to boards, you have to contact a moderator regarding advertising as a commercial interest before you can sell your services and you'll have a thread in the sites and retailers section. this is the only way you can do it on boards as far as i know. Its not really worth while when you consider the narrow field of interest you are aiming for. People can fix leaky mags in a couple of minutes with very little skill at all. :)

or you could just be sound and bang up an auld tuitorial there for others.

Are those mausers not meant to be used on 134a or is that just the carbine version?

If so, that could be the problem youre experiencing witht the seals.

If I was asked to fix a leaky mag, I' do it free and only charge for replacement parts.
Pistol mags are prone to start leaking at anytime and chaging anything over €10 to stop a leak, when spare parts are not required is overkill. It's a 5 minute job with some silicone oil and maybe a bit of ptfe tape.

Valve tool + ptfe tape= 90% of mag problems fixed in about 5 mins at the most, not idea if eBay would let you sell a service but tbh I don't think the would

I just know I could not charge someone for such a job we get about 3 or4 a skirmish on site, I would say most other shops are the same with doing little things like this for free

if you wanted to get around the issue of offering a service,
get the buyer to send you his magazine, and you give them a 'fixed' one.
    then its legit.

well all the magazine come leaking right out of the box

i only used 144a gas asrecommended

i had to add to add new parts to fix them

so it's not just a regular repair job, the cartridge design is faulty and needs to be changed

In my experience with em it just took a licking of silicone grease on the o-ring, worst comes to worst i'd change the o-ring for a thicker one and jobs a good one. :)
