    Guys,

Im opening my business in Tullamore, Co Offaly. Im looking for some references / advice about some good accountants, that can help me get my business off the ground.

Basically, Im not looking for a full time accountant, just someone who does what I need, gives me some good info, tells me how to save money / pay less tax, anything like that. Im not after a bull****ter, Im after an honest straight talker.

Im not looking to pay big bucks either.

Anyone know of someone, or any references of anyone that can help.

    Thanks in advance.

    Other possible places to look.

In case you didnt notice there's an accounting forum here on Biz Boards. Many new and part-qualified. Might yield a result for you ...

If you used LinkedIN, consider posting your question to this group http://www.linkedin.com/groups?gid=2182342&trk=myg_ugrp_ovr

Why does your accountant have to be from Tullamore?

If the best man for you is in Dublin or Cork then that who you use. Limiting yourself to a small regional practice is madness. I would only ever deal with a larger firm, the access to knowledge and resources is far better than a one man band operation.
