    ROI (9/4) draw (11/5) France (6/4)

to qualify ROI (11/5) Fr (4/11)

    Honest opinions?

Will the French be cautious in the 1st leg? Can we snatch a 1 or even 2-0 lead going into the second leg?

If so we have a resolute defence (ok, suspect in the latter stages against Italy) and that will fustrate the French, the crowd and if we snatched a goal from a dead-ball situation in Paris we'll be hanging out of the tree tops .....who knows

i'd settle for a 0-0 in croker tbh.

Draw at 11/5 isnt very inticing so i might back the 0-0.

although i hate watching games ive the 0-0 backed in lol

    Back 2 draws;)

A 1-1 draw in Croker and a 0-0 in Paris, unfortunately not sending us through:(

    That's what I'll be doing

Ya i dont think you will go too far wrong by backing 2 draws - lets hope its a 0-0 and 1-1 and bring on SA. I read an article in the Irish Times last Sat about Gignac - Domenech's preferred striker ahead of Benzema, Anelka etc. He is 24 and plays for Toulouse. His club strike-rate is poor but his international form has been very good. I think he got 4 in qualifying. Still it shows that Domenech is unpredictable and liable to play anyone. Lets hope he doesnt play Gourguff.

It's vital we win in Croker or we're out I think.
Without Steven Reid, Andy Reid and possibly even Sean St.Ledger *Joke* my hopes aren't too good.
    Hope I'm wrong though.
Would certainly back Ireland to score first.

I was going to add a probable line-up that I suspect but decided against it.

    Toulalan & Gourcuff will start.

Gignac & Malouda prob not. I think he'll prob go with Henry & Benzema for a change :D

Trap's main objective will be to keep a clean sheet at home.

I can see it being a very one-sided affair in the 1st leg.

Never back 0-0. Go with 'no goalscorer' instead.

    Under 2.5 sounds safe enough.

yea under 2.5 goals, must be short odds though.

really looking forward to this, an honest prediction is 1-1
despite being well set up to defend, we'll prob conceade through a lapse in concentration. here's hoping we don't! then its a 1-0 win for us!

Henry came on last night for Barca,I'd say he'll be back to full fitness by the time we're playing,Ribery is out though.

Must be a bit of support around for the Irish, they are as low as 6/4 now and on average 15/8 with most firms.
