My wife has 2 dresses she want's to sell.

One is her wedding dress and the other is a ballgown type dress (I'm not sure what the technical term is :o)

Other than Ebay, can anyone suggest where to sell these dresses? Is there a dedicated website or store in Ireland that does this sort of thing?

    cheers.

I looked into selling my own dress and finally decided against it because shops sell it for roughly half the pice you paid for it then take a huge amount of commisssion (maybe 25%, can't remember).
In the end I felt that I would rather keep my wedding dress to make a Christening gown or for kids to dress up in. Or if I had ball dress I would probably just give it to a charity shop.
I did advertise my beautiful wedding dress for a very reasonable price on weddingsonline.ie and got absolutely no interest (and a friend of mine had same experience).

Suburban Dolls in Dublin 12 take dresses and sell them for you then you get 50% of the sale and they keep the rest. There's a few like that - Wear it Again in Baggot Street and Frock Exchange in Dun Laoghaire
