Copy to another laptop

    Call me stupid but is it possible to connect two laptops together to copy files directly from one to another instead of copying onto a USB key.

    If both your laptops are on the same network (ie, on the same wireless/Wired connection) you can enable file sharing and share out the folder you want to copy( right click on the folder, properties, sharing) Then just browse to that persons laptop(start, run \\name of laptop) then into the shared folder and copy and paste.

    you could set up an ftp server on one of them or use someting like BT digital vault if they are both connected to the internet.
