After having a brief rant about dreams. I am letting my prediction known so people can look back on this thread in a few years and say that Dan that guy knows something. The return of the hat. Men always wore mad top hats,,,, obviously farmer hats and baseball caps have taken over but look too gay nowadays, unless u are a farmer who doesnt care or are a walking advertisement with some american baseball or basketball team on your hat. U never see many people wearing premiership team hats, I suppose they do look like u bought them at a horse fair or something or never really caught on. Hats with messages and funny stuff dont work either. I dont know why but doesnt, novelty stuff go on the t-shirt! So I reckon u will see people wearing oldie style top hats. Hats are cool, everyone should get a mad looking big hat, no logos no real style. Soon the fade will start. Might take a few years but sooner or later your gonna buy a big top hat thingy....why? cos they are cool. Everyone will want a hat.........I wont wear one though, would look too much like a gypsy.

Hats on men are like short hair on women - works for some, looks horrendous on most.

Top hats are too showy and not very practical for every day use.

A nice fedora is what you want. Mine is keeping my head warm and dry today anyway.

Trilbys are perhaps coming back but not tophats they are far too formal and you'll only ever see them at weddings.

As monkeyfudge said a nice fedora is what you want

I wear a farmer style hat (plain grey) that I bought in House of Frazer in Manchester to race meetings. I wear a beanie type woolly hat most days, I have 4 of them. A black one with an MG logo on it, two plain timberland ones and a Firetrap one that is cream. Hats are a must to keep the shaved head cosy in these winter months.

True, very true, I usually wear Leather cowboy style hats, baseball caps are a no-no for me, I need to keep light out of my eyes so anything without a brim just doesn't do
