    Hi all,

Have an 03 suzuki grand vitara and today the check engine light came on. :( I check the oil and the engine & everything looks fine. Anyone have any idea what it might be?

    Thanks in advance

The lambda sensor (or however you spell it) or air filter.
Probably need a diagnostic tool to get the fault code.
Still driving ok and running fine no odd noises?

Thanks for the fast reply. It's driving perfect but I'm afraid to keep driving it. Must get the diagnostic test done

Got it diagnosed today. It appears to be a fuel injector going. Anyone know if thats an expensive job?

It can be yes...you wont know for sure until you get your quote but I'd expect it to hurt

Ouch but at least you know. Can hurt the pocket, as epm said. You go main or indy garage?

I only bought it in August, so it should be under warranty. Only problem is I bought it in Tipperary, so if it has to go back I'll be carless!!

Id just go carless if its under warranty, contact them immediately
