    This might be a bit out of the reach of most mortals, but if anyone is interested, there will be a sample sale of Vera Wang dresses at BT from Friday 6th to Sunday 8th November.
    Vera Wang will host a sample sale weekend with up to 75 per cent off sample dresses at its bridal boutique at Brown Thomas in Dublin from Friday, 6th to Sunday, 8th November.

    Vera Wang will offer this incredible discount on almost one hundred different dresses, which have been tried on by brides when they have come for an appointment at the Brown Thomas showroom. The three day sale will be open to everyone with no appointment necessary.

    Vera Wang Dress Manager, Sarah Kelly offers some advice on dressing for your big day. She says: “When it comes to Sample Sale, the best advice to give is ‘don’t panic’. There will be a lot of people and a complete range of styles, so stick to what you have already learned about what suits you.

    “Look at what is in the sale and choose only dresses suited to your body type. These will be the dresses that emphasise the parts of your body you like. Generally, emphasising the waist is a good idea as it is often our smallest part. You can do this through the cut of the dress or by adding a sash or corsage.

    It is also important to think about the type of bride you want to be on your big day. If you want your dress to be romantic and fairy tale like, choose soft fabrics like organza and chiffon. Vera Wang is known for her stunning soft layering and her romantic designs are breathtaking. If you would like a more classic look, go for a more structured duchesse satin style. Remember how dresses make you feel, as well as what they look like. This is an important decision and you want to feel your very best. In the Sample Sale, once you have found your dress, my advice is don’t put it down, you need to be able to make your decision and snap up the bargain before anyone else does. Make sure you are with the special people that you wish to involve in your decision making so you can float away with your dream dress feeling totally confident and on a cloud!”
