Hmm very reminiscent of Bourne but looks alright, especially like the stunt work when she's a-salting people near the end (...yeah, went there). Hopefully the action scenes will be peppered with real moments of drama too

Not only does the trailer look absolutley awful, but I cannot for the life of me understand what people see in this woman.

She can't act. All she does is stand there pouting with her lips. Even they arent as nice as people make them out to be. She could do with some lip balm or vaseline or something.

It seems the role was originally written for a male ,Tom Cruise but he turned it down due to the similarities with Mission Impossible.
It was then rewritten for a female lead.
I'm not really a fan of female action leads and especially not anorexic stick women who are supposed to be able to beat up 200 lb men in a fist fight.

I agree. They've turned it into another "Angelina Jolie dresses in short skirt, pouts and kills baddies" movie.

I'm just sick of her, at this point.

Well I watched it tonight and it was very disappointing.
Paper thin plot,ridiculously far fetched and illogical story,outlandish and stupid action scenes ,one dimensional moronic characters,and an utterly predictable twist.
Salt is an unabashed Bourne re-tread, except it sucks and Bourne doesn't.

Angelina Jolie looked wrong for the part ,she resembled a stick insect in the film ,its just not credible .
Are we actually expected to take someone like Jolie seriously as a kick ass CIA agent?
Watching her swing around those twiggy mantis limbs,knocking people around is hard to watch. As for some of the action scenes she hardly has a scratch after performing feats that Superman would be proud of.She makes this movie look terrible.

If the main character was Tom Cruise as it was originally planned it may have been half decent.
In the end its a mess.
I dont know what was worse Salt or the A-Team.
Terrible year for action movies.

I watched it.
Thought it was very good.
Nothing worse than people who decide what their opinion on a movie is before they see it. There is a lot of that going on here.

I thought it was poor enough and my expectations weren't that high to begin with - watchable but only just. A fairly generic super-agent movie with an overall plot that the James Bond writers would be ashamed of.

(Dont know if spoilers are appropriate for this so I'll err on the side of caution)

On the Bond note, they also pretty much directly implanted the start of "Die Another Day" (The North Korean imprisonment/torture/exchange on bridge sequence)

Angelina punching out and pistol-whipping loads of agents looked a tad ridiculous throughout.

I thought that it was about to turn into female Hancock at one point.

That bit in the

Police car handcuffed from the the front was farcical ,Who handcuffs someone fronm the front ????

A 115lb woman who looked gaunt and fragile fighting numerous 200lb agents and knocking them out effortlessly with one punch ,ffs,give me a break.

Just watched it and liked parts of it, but it would've been much better with a solid male lead.

There's nothing that can compare to Bourne though, I'm waiting and waiting but nothing is coming out that feels like Bourne, that will remain the greatest trilogy of all time for me.

I watched this during the week. It's good. No it's not Bond/Bourne but I just wanted to see a decent action movie and that I got!

Angelina was great in it.

It was only watchable but I enjoyed it for the most part. I agree about it not being realistic at all and I'm usually pretty good at leaving my head at the door.
