Hi Guys Going to pop the question very soon and was wondering which place is the best for value at the moment to but an engagement ring. The doller seems very good at the moment and from reading all the treads here most people seem to go to either Antwerp or New York. Thanks in advance for any replies. Cat-man

Best value how? Do you want to make a 'profit' on it? Do you want to get a €5k diamond in Dublin for €3k somewhere else.

IMO, getting engaged is about just that. Buy a ring you both like for no other reason than you both like it. What it is worth should mean nothing if you're not planning on selling it.
