Divorce, how soon after a divorce should I get documentation?

    Divorce, how soon after a divorce should I get documentation?

    I got divorced in May 2008 and I have yet to receive anything at all! Do I need to get back on to my solicitor or can I go about getting it myself? How long is normal waiting for this?

    Ring the court house with your case number. You should have received them with a month or two so must have gone astray. Or not actually granted?? Were you there on the day?

    Do you need it for an particular purpose? Apart from framing it and hanging over the fireplace....

    Ask your solicitor for a copy of the order made on the day. He/She will have one in the post that evening.

    Yeah, I was there on the day, I'll check with my solicitor
