    and they used a piece of footage from that riot over here a while back.

    I hear its supposed to be very good. But it will never have the cheesy special effects of the original, ahh yes!

    Thats back when shít TV was good TV nowadays shít tv is shít tv.

    It starts tomorrow night on TV3 at 10pm.

    God I cant wait to see the new Diana. I think she was the first Alien I ever ahd a crush on.

    i know its a bit of a contridiction as he was trying to kill Diana, but Donavan was to coolist guy alive.....

    The tune (cue 'V' beat) is now going off in my head..........

    The pilot got raging reviews.....should be good....surprised that TV3 have not promoted it more...

    Ham Tyler and his equally mercenary buddy better make it into the remake. With lots of grim quips, talk of "'Nam" and snapping of alien neck.

    No need for Kyle, the "star-child" or Willie in this one though.

    Yeah. Starts on tv3 on tomorrow night. 4 episodes and then none until February of next year.

    American tv schedules suck.

    I'm still waiting to hear about this riot in Ireland.

    It won't have anything near the impact of the original.

    I remember during the Olympics when it started, there was no build-up or promos. You just started watching and suddenly:
    "Huge Flying Saucers !"
    "Aliens !"
    "But they're here to help us"
    "But I think there's something else going on"
    "OMG they're Lizards !"
    "OMG they want to eat us !!"

    It was brilliant, it actually seemed real !

    But then they made the serials and it became crap

    I've seen as far as where they blew up all the baby aliens on the mother ship, it might be only 3 or 4 episodes in I think, anywhere I catch up with the rest of season one?
