    Just wondering...

    How/where do I print things in college?
    How much does it cost?


    and I was so proud for working out the whole photocopying thing...though photocopying both sides is still beyond me...

    It's 5c a page for black/white, and 50c for colour. Printers are in most computer rooms (all over the place in the Hamilton, dunno about the Arts block).

    You print whatever it is on the computer the ordinary way (file->print, etc), then go to a printer and swipe your card or enter your student #. It'll ask for your password - the default is 9999, but you can change it online whenever you want. It'll bring up a list of things you have queued up to print, press enter and bam!

    I think you start off with something like 25c of credit, but you can top up at one of the virtual cash acceptors around the place or with a credit/laser card online.

    This is the ISS guide, however useful that is to you.. :pac:

    The prices for colour printing I think are cheaper than that though, I could have sworn I'd only paid 20c a page..

    In order to pay for printing, you add money to your printing account (there's automatically 25c on it I think!) by either topping up by debit/credit card, using your phone or (and it's the easiest one!) going to one of the pay stations. You can either swipe your student card or type in your student no (the latter is easier, they don't like recognising cards :(), then the password which is listed on the instructions above the machine, there's a default one but you should change that.. :) Oh, the pay stations are in the Hamilton computer rooms area, lobby of Aras an Phiarsaigh, Usher Library and the lower concourse of the Arts Block (and for postgrads you also have the 1937 reading room).

    Then there's the "How to print" section which tells you exactly that. The first link I gave contains links to most/all the info I just gave there methinks.

    Only problem with topping up is the machines don't accept anything smaller than a 50cent, which can be annoying at times.
