    Hi,

I have been getting the JB fr the last 6 weeks and just recently i have been offer a teaching job for 2 hours a week teaching the boys/girls of gorey secondary school cookery.
My question, it's only 2 hours a week (1 hour per day), would this affect my JB and more importantly my mortgage supplementary?

I'm not sure, maybe Xiney or someone with more experience could answer this one. Its unfortunate you are working 2 different days, I suspect despite it only being 1 hour that this will impact in some way.

you can still get JSB but you will lose 2 days of benefit for working two days - it doesn't matter if you work 1 hour or 12 hours on those days, every day you work is a day you're not entitled to JSB.

As for mortgage supplement I'm afraid I have no experience in this area and I'd encourage you to visit your local citizens' information office.
